This sculpture is in perfect condition. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base: Height 9.5″ x Width 4″. Marble Dimensions:4″ X 3″. Height without base: 7.5. The Native American Shaman can be imagined walking through a wind-whipped forest, holding a Ox head in his hands, looking high into the sky that appears and disappears through the dancing leaves of treetops. Shamans work with their allies-the animal spirits in order to receive messages of healing and insight. Gathering the Great Spirit into his soul, he listens to the silent language of the wise voices of the animal spirits that surround him. The Ox Head symbolizes strength in word and thought, ability to listen, grace and appreciation for the beauty of balance, understanding of what’s necessary for survival, power of gratitude and giving and connection to the woodland goddess. Rabbit’s medicine includes moving through fear, living by one’s own wits, receiving hidden teachings and intuitive messages, quick thinking, strengthening intuition, and paradox. The turkey speaks of generosity, life-giving and sharing of happiness. This multi-meaning, spiritually rich sculpture is ideal for any Native American Indian enthusiast or one who needs to be reminded of the messages that emit through this piece. The handmade bronze sculpture was cast using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation. It is mounted upon a variegated brown marble base with the artist. Virgin Islands, however, an additional charge may be required.
