Outstanding Royston turquoise Sterling silver ring size 8, hallmarked by the famous Navajo artist ELOUISE KEE, and stamped STERLING. The Royston turquoise is known for its wide range of colors from a beautiful soft blue to emerald greens. The colors of the stone often run together in the same rock which creates some of the most spectacular turquoise stones on Earth. The combination of light and dark matrix contrasts beautifully with the light shades of green and blue of this gem. The stone is set in a segmented bezel, wrapped in a flat twisted wire with a beautiful raised cut-out border that has become KEE’s signature. The ring is 1 3/4″ tall by 1 1/8″ wide, and weighs 28.1 grams. This beautiful piece is in excellent condition. Note: This stone has some inclusions and lines that are natural to the stone. There’s a scrape and a tiny chip in the green matrix that may have occurred during the crafting process, as they are very clean lines. Because of all the natural lines of the stone, these other marks are virtually unnoticeable especially when worn. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art.
