Running Bear’s Native American Indian Turquoise Sterling Silver Bead Necklace
Gorgeous Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise (possibly Sleeping Beauty) Sterling silver bead necklace, unmarked but most likely Navajo. Showcases 5 pendants with 2 vibrant blue turquoise stones each. All of the turquoise cabochons have tiny black spots in their matrices. Stones were nicely polished but retained their uneven surfaces. The larger stones are set in well-constructed serrated bezels wrapped in silver rope, and the smaller ones are set in serrated bezels but framed by 4 silver raindrops. The stones are set in the center and bottom of the pendant, with a three dimensional flower and two raised leaves framing them. The necklace weighs approximately 91 grams total. The center pendant is about 1 3/4″ tall by 1 7/16″ wide (including the loops) , and 1 3/8 without the loops. The other pendants are only slightly smaller. The main stone in the center pendant is roughly 11/16″ tall by 1/2″ wide. The bead necklace measures 21 3/8 ” from hook to eye, including the 3 1/8″ chain extension. Without the extension it becomes a choker- an equally elegant look for this multi-stone design. The 3/16″ seamless bench-made beads were strung in sets of 5 with a 1/2″ melon bead in between each set. Exceptional stones and superb craftsmanship. Vintage Native Indian Arrows Turquoise Stampwork Sterling Silver Bracelet. The Bracelet measures 3/4 deep in front. Inside measures about 2-3/4″ x 1-3/4″. Inside end-to-end is about 5-1/2″, with an opening of about 1-3/4″. The total inner circumference is 7-1/4. It is slightly adjustable. It weighs 20.7g.
