This weighty vintage Navajo Indian piece can be used as a scarf slide. It may originally have been part of a buckle set but, I can’t say with certainty. It measures approximately 1″ (2.5 cm) by 1″ by 3/4 (1.9 cm) and weighs 24.2 grams. The stone is just under 1″ by just 3/4″. Like most older Native American silver, this piece is not hallmarked or marked for silver content. It is sterling or a slightly lower grade of silver. I have left the original patina.
