Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise sterling silver pendant, unmarked. This medallion style pendant showcases a beautiful, roughly polished turquoise nugget, with a deep brown matrix. This cabochon is set in a smooth bezel wrapped in silver rope on a recessed pendant with two inner, carinated boders, and an outer silver rope border. The stone is adorned with raised silver circles with a raindrop in the center of each circle. This outstanding piece weighs just over 26 grams, and it’s almost 2 1/2″ tall (including the bale) by 1 7/8″ wide, at its widest point. The pendant is 2 3/8 tall minus the bale. The open hook style bale is 9/16″ tall and 1 1/8″ deep (max thickness of chain). The stone alone is approximately 11/16″ tall by 3/8″ wide, at its widest, from bezel to bezel.
