This Large Belt Buckle was made by a talented Navajo artist using a stunning Spiderweb Round Top Bisbee Mine Turquoise stone that has fantastic Matrix. It is stamp signed with the “T” hallmark depicting the maker, and it is not stamped “Sterling” on reverse of the buckle, but it is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver. Unfortunately, I have been unable to identify the maker by name. There is moderate tarnish on this old buckle. The buckle is probably 30-45 years old. I have owned it since February of 2010 when I traded for it with a Santa Fe dealer. The stone is really the story here and this high grade Bisbee Turquoise stone is magnificent. The Oval Convex shape and “Double Moon” “Double Square” design is impressive and worth examining in the magnified pictures! There is a lot of Color, Contrast, and Energy in this one.
