




Navajo Horsehair Bustle an Authentic Native American made item made by the collaborative works of two artists: Dorthery Manning (beadwork) and Linda Lee (assembly) who are both registered members of the Navajo nation. This piece has overall hanging dimensions of 17×24 inches Showy for wall display & desirable for any collector of authentic Native American made artifacts… Yet is designed to be functional for use in dance regalia. Detailed description: Blonde colored horse tail hair is bundled & tightly wrapped in brown yarn, with sky blue glass beads in between to form the circle. At the center of the bustle is some beautiful original beadwork. A large 4 inch diameter rosette with a 2.5×6 strip beneath it, both sewn to leather backing. 11/0 size bead colors are pearl white, sky blue & light and dark brown Brown leather fringe hangs down below the center strip of bead work with additional long bundles of blonde horse tail hair on each side of it. There is a special leather strip with a hole punched in it for wall hanging display… But this bustle is fully functional as it also has leather tie straps at the backside on the center of the large rosette if someone should desire to use it to adorn their dance regalia. Comes with certificate of authenticity & is signed by one of the makers.
