The Native American Indian chief stands under a furrowed brow with grave eyes. In a silent prayer, he asks the Great Spirit to protect and give victory to their tribe against their adversaries. He sports the typical regalia of buckskin, tasseled leggings with moccasins. He carries in his arms both a hatchet and a shield in defense of peace for his tribe. He was captured using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish. The chief is mounted upon a black marble base with the European Bronze Finery stamp and the artist. Virgin Islands, however, an additional charge may be required. This sculpture is in perfect condition. Nbsp;Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base:Height 14″ x Width 10″ Marble Dimensions: 7 1/2″ X 6″ Height without base: 10 Weight :20 LBS Inventory : 41Y1409614 This is an exquisite bronze bust of a Native American warrior chief. He stares at the beholder, wild and bold, with an air of spiritual resilience. His hair is adorned with braids that are wrapped with strips of deer hide coated with a turquoise patina. A long feathernbsp; lost in the back of his hair stretches towards gravity also finished in a turquoise patina. He wears a bone breastplate which was a popular chest ornament or armor. Since the hair-pipe bones were difficult and expensive to obtain, the number of bones in the plate often indicated the wealth of a warrior. Nbsp; Such breastplates were worn on occasion in battle, but could be penetrated easily by an arrow or a bullet, so they were mainly a decorative or medicine item. The sculpture was molded using the archaic method of lost-wax casting with skin tones finished in a brown patina stain for perpetuation. GORGEOUS & HUGE Authentic Navajo Indian Handmade Concho Belt. Very classy, nicely designed, large Navajo Indian handmade concho belt with GREAT STAMPING. Handmade by Navajo Indian artisan, Daniel Kayonnie. The attractive concho belt is. 100% handmade from Nickel Silver and Reconstituted Turquoise. The Concho belt has 1 large buckle, 6 large oval shaped conchos and 7 butterfly conchos. The Buckle measures 2 7/8 inches by 2 7/8 inches. The 6 large oval conchos measure 3 inches by 2 3/4 inches. The 7 butterfly conchos measure approximately 2 5/8 inches by 1 1/2 inches. The belt is 1 7/16 inches wide and is approximately 49 inches long. Overall weight with the belt is 424 grams (15 ounces). The belt has no holes punched and is designed for you to easily cut down to your desired length and hole punched. If you need a longer belt you will have to have one cut at your local leather shop. This is an exquisite bronze bust of a Native American warrior chief. He stares at the beholder, wild and bold, with an air of spiritual resilience. His hair is adorned with braids that are wrapped with strips of deer hide coated with a turquoise patina. A long feather lost in the back of his hair stretches towards gravity also finished in a turquoise patina. He wears a bone breastplate which was a popular chest ornament or armor. Since the hair-pipe bones were difficult and expensive to obtain, the number of bones in the plate often indicated the wealth of a warrior. Such breastplates were worn on occasion in battle, but could be penetrated easily by an arrow or a bullet, so they were mainly a decorative or medicine item. The sculpture was molded using the archaic method of lost-wax casting with skin tones finished in a brown patina stain for perpetuation. The chief is mounted upon a black marble and is signed C.
