McKinney And Hall Two Framed Lithograph Prints Of Native American Indians. Pair of McKenny and Hall colored lithographs of Native American Indians. The lithographs sourced from McKenny and Hall’s “History Of The American Tribes Of North America” are not only amongst the greatest hand-colored American illustrated plates of the 19th century. The lithographs are faithfully produced from original oil paintings either by Charles Bird King painted from life in his studio in Washington or reproduced by King from the watercolors of frontier artist James Otto Lewis as well as a few other artists. One print is titled “Mistippee, ” son of the Muskogee (Creek) leader Yoholo Micco. The other is titled Ne-O-Mon-Ni, An Ioway Chief. Both are in very nice preowned condition with vibrant color and professional framing. Under glass and with matching double matting and themed complimenting frames, these pieces are truly gorgeous.
