Really incredible antique childs dress. This piece is very hold and is made of velvet. The velvet does have some holes in it from age which is to be expected. It is all hand beaded with beautiful shells. Please see all photos for details and measurements. It measures roughly 27″ long by 22″ wide. Great looking vintage parfleche bonnet case with wonderful painted designs. Inside is a bonus stick game consisting of 12 plains sticks (pointed at one end), 6 sticks with bark markings (one is broken) and an additional small sized sticks that we haven’t seen in a common stick / hand game (one is broken). Nice case with what looks to be mineral paints and some Indian brain tanned hide fringe, handle, and enclosure straps. Great piece to use or display if like playing or storing any hand game pieces inside, and it has NO RESERVE! NICE OLD EXAMPLE. Please see all additional photos at bottom of this page. Plains Oglala Lakota Sioux Indian Beaded Child's Moccasins Native American

Offered is a pair of beautiful Northern Plains (Lakota Sioux) Leather and Beaded Child/Baby Moccasins. These measure 5 7/8 long. They have a hard parfleche sole and beautiful beadwork. They date to the first half of the 20th Century and were collected by a man who lived in Ainsworth, Nebraska (passed away in 1970) and collected items from the people in the region. He was honored by the Oglala Sioux in his lifetime. I believe the sole is stitched with sinew and the beads are stitched with thread. A note: We’re all healthy here and are isolated and washing hands regularly. If you’re worried just leave your packages in a garage or porch area for a few days before opening. Thanks and be well. Most of the items we sell come from our personal collection gathered over the years from our travels, from Native powwows and craft stores, antique shops, auctions and estate sales. Now that our kids are in college and beyond, we are letting some items go so others can enjoy them. Then I’ll send you a combined invoice. Offered is a Plains Beaded Leather Lizard or Turtle Fetish with trade beads instead of the traditional jingle cones. It could be a turtle or lizard. The length and narrow back makes me think it looks more like a lizard. Beautiful beadwork and a sueded leather. This is fairly contemporary, probably last quarter of the 20th Century. It measures 7″ by 2 1/2″ wide. It is sewn with thread. The gaps appear to be as made. Slight smudging on leather on bottom. This came from a Florida estate.
