For sale antique Native American Indian PLATEAU. BEADED KNIFE SHEATH & Knife with wood handle. Circa – 1890’S. The SHEATH is in great CONDITION. Glass beads are original and from period. Sheath decorated also with metal tassels. Brine tanned hide, looks like Moose. (See my other listings). Dates from around 1890’s according to previous owner. A truly spectacular SHEATH. Heavy leather + fine bead work. Size sheath: 11″ long 3 1/4″ wide. The antique knife date from 1890 – 1900’s. Size: 12 1/2 long. Kept on display for the last 80+ years. PERFECT FOR your collection. Offered is a pair of beautiful Contemporary Plateau Indian Beaded Soft Doeskin Moccasins, made by a member of the Yakama, Skokomish and Cree Tribes. The craftsperson was Thomas Mosqueda, who sadly passed away this last year. He was descended from Chief Seattle. These measure 10 1/4 and are in excellent condition. No missing beads or stains. The gaps that show in the picture are just due to flash and the lazy stitch beading that creates gaps between strings of beads. They date to the 1990s. This began January 1st. Important Information for all items. It will also be double-boxed. Sorry for the expense, but I’ve had items lost overseas when mailing first class and don’t want to take the risk of losing these beautiful moccasins. I can send them in a box within a padded envelope. You are responsible for any duty charged at the border.
