We may not always be available on weekends and/or holidays, but we will respond to your message, in the order it was received, when we return to the Southwestern Native American Indian chandelier style turquoise snake-eyes sterling silver post earrings, unmarked. 13 multi-colored turquoise snake-eye stones and silver raindrops adorn each earring. The stones were set in serrated bezels placed in 2 individual rows on a piece of silver sheet with raindrops in between them, and adorned with a twisted wire on top. The 2 silver sheets have loops and are connected by sturdy silver links. The bottom row of turquoise has 4 fringe-like silver drops. The cluster button (top of the earring), has 4 snake-eyes, also set in serrated bezels and connected to the chandelier dangle by links as well. These beautiful earrings weigh 7 grams each, and are 3 1/4″ tall, top of the button to end of dangles, by 1″ wide, at their widest point. These post earrings come with butterfly backs, but they do not match. Old handmade piece with old stones. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art. All measurements are approximations. Charles Marion Russell 1864 – 1926 also known as C. Russell, Charlie Russell, and “Kid” Russell, was an American artist of the American Old West. He created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes set in the western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. He is known as the cowboy artist and was also a storyteller and author. In 1916, Congress passed legislation to create the Rocky Boy Reservation. This beautiful Vintage style Art Print is reproduced in the USA by Texas Art Warehouse in a variety of sizes and materials. All products are made by our printing and framing partner in the USA. The Russell images in our collection are mostly scanned from books & vintage publications. In some cases there are color versions and black & white versions of the same image that were published at varying times. We have tried to ensure the best quality from the scans we have available and where there are major color differences with scans we may list both versions. We also try to limit the sizes available to accommodate the quality of the scans we have. If you are not satisfied with the product please let us know before leaving a review and we will do our best to resolve the issue. If you are looking to frame yourself choose Unframed Art Paper or Rolled Canvas which are perfect for using existing frames or upcycling thrift store finds. His work is versatile and romantic. Larry Fodor’s work recalls a certain sensibility and/or sensitivity to mark making that was such a tremendous component to the drawing and painting curriculum he studied in the mid 70’s at Otis, when Fodor received his BFA. One may spend years attempting to shed the influences that impressionable young minds’ adapt in the process of learning, but what remains is essential aesthetics, translated, hopefully into some particular voice that belongs to a tradition 30,000 years in the making. Born in California with a love and curiosity for the southwest, Fodor began his artistic career by emphasizing the magic, romance, spiritualism of the Native American relationship with the environment. With a strong background in drawing and numerous fine art degrees Fodor then moved on to a more expressionistic style which remains his focus today. His work was admired by the artist Fritz Scholder.
