Original Fur Trade Era Indian Dag Knife! For sale is an old original Sioux Indian dag knife. Original old Hudson Bay Company marked trade blade. The ash handle has numerous small silver pins inlaid around the brass pins holding the blade’s tang in place. The knife is very solid and very tight. It’s in really good shape for its age. The handle is called “paddle” handle because of its resemblance to a canoe paddle. From the early 1800’s. The blade has a nice deep HB mark on the blade. Very old knife from Plains Indian history! I bought out an estate in Raleigh North Carolina this past week. The item “Early 1800’s Sioux Indian Dag Knife HB Trade Blade Hudson Bay Company” is in sale since Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
